The ICS event checker never uploads your file. It is read and checked in your browser and discarded when you reset the checker or leave the page.

The ICS event checker

  • Files you choose, drop or paste are read by your browser and checked by code running in the page. Their contents are not sent to us or anyone else.
  • Calendar contents are not saved to your browser’s storage (such as localStorage) and are not written to logs.
  • The checker never opens web addresses or attachments found inside a calendar file, and it doesn’t fetch calendar URLs.
  • The page’s security policy blocks scripts on the page from sending data to any other website.

What we collect

This site does not currently use analytics or set cookies.

If you email us or use the pilot interest form, we receive what you send: usually your name, email address, agency and details about your client calendars. We use it only to reply and, for the pilot, to assess fit and run the pilot. The interest form, if used, is provided by a third-party form service, which processes your answers on our behalf.

Our hosting provider processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply and, for pilot participants, for the duration of the pilot and any follow-up. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
